Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club presents ....
"A Jazz Portrait of Dudley Moore"
Direct from London's internationally acclaimed Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club's Musical Director - James Pearson - alongside some of the UK's leading musicians take to the stage with his affectionate and swinging celebration of the greatest (and most underrated!) jazz pianists of all time: Dudley Moore.
Audiences are treated to insights into Dudley’s style and influences, alongside a collection of some of Dudley's finest compositions, including ‘Dudley Dell‘ and ‘Not Only But Also’. Plus a very special trio orchestration of Dudley’s ‘And the Same to You’ (his parody on Colonel Bogey in the style of Beethoven!).
The concert is a classic combination of wonderful music with alongside a dash of fun and comedy!

"James Pearson gives a nod in the direction of Dudley Moore as he blows the roof off the Soho room"
The Sunday Times ‘Full-on brilliance’ The Guardian “Dudley Moore possessed charisma in abundance, so much so that people often forgot that he was an exceptional musician. Like the subject of this musical portrait, Pearson is an omnivorous improviser blessed with an ironclad technique" The Times |
