Jeff Hooper is perhaps one of the most talented and best-loved swing singers on the European music-scene.
His career credits read like a who's who of the entertainment business: early in his career Jeff worked with Matt Monro (who taught him how to tie a bow tie!) as well as the likes of Morecambe and Wise, and Stephane Grapelli and Bacharach and David. He sang with Dame Shirley Bassey and Sir Tom Jones at the opening of the National Assembly of Wales. He is also a great favourite on the BBC RADIO 2 show 'Friday Night is Music Night' where he has been a regular guest singing alongside the BBC Big Band. His voice will also be familiar to to TV viewers, from his features on commercials for the likes of Skoda, Jeep and VW Motors.

In this concert, Jeff turns his attention to the great swing vocalists of the Twentieth Century, including the likes of Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and of course Frank Sinatra.
Through a diverse and unique repertoire, arranged and curated by Jeff and his MD/Pianist, the concert celebrates the music of perhaps the most iconic vocalists and entertainners of the Twentieth Century - whose legacy and influence continues to form a cornerstone popular culture and crossed the boundaries of swing and popular music.
